Albizzia julibrissin rosea (Silk Tree)

This elegant small tree thrives in hot districts, and even in poor soils making it a nice shade tree.The foliage is a most attractive green and folds up at night. The feature of this specimen is the pink pompom flower heads, which are evident in the summer months.

A beautiful stately tree, well known for its distinctive foliage. An upright yellow specimen when young, spreading out with maturity. Has lovely autumn colour, with orange/green tulip shaped flowers appearing in summer. Frost and wet soil tolerant. Makes an ideal park or farm specimen tree.

Melia azedarach (Bead Tree)

This is a fast growing round headed tree which is very versatile and drought tolerant. The young leaves appear in late spring, with large sprays of small delicately scented lilac flowers; these are followed by bunches of pale yellow berries, which persist after the leaves fall.

Prunus cerasoides (Burmese cherry)

A tree unknown to most people, but well worth growing in the larger garden. It has a smooth ringed bark and is unusual in flowering in late autumn or early winter. Its pale pink blossoms cover the tree before the leaves emerge in mid winter and the tuis flock to the trees in bloom. Fastgrowing.

Pyrus calleryana ‘Bradford’ (Grafted ornamental pear)

A thornless pyramid tree with white flowers. Flowers profusely in spring and leaves colour to a brilliant orange and red in autumn. Leaves are fresh green and pest resistant all summer. This variety appears to be resistant to fire blight. An outstanding street or garden tree.

A broadly spreading tree. It has dark glossy leaves which turn to a spectacular red colour in autumn. This really is a sight to behold. A delightful columnar tree. A new addition to the deciduous trees. Has drooping branchlets, with small rich green leaves. In autumn these leaves turn a striking shade of burgundy. Suitable for all conditions. Very hardy. This is an outstanding medium street or avenue tree.
